Many of the projects I have worked on started from a desire to automate tasks I did each day. Once I was able to free up some of my own time I was able to pass some of my methods on to help others and look for new projects to work on. The following is a partial list of projects I have worked on and for some of the larger projects I detail parts of my approach:
Finding an account number in a string.
Tracking completed items on a report.
Cutting Run time of large reports.
Scraping IBM mainframe to validate data using visual basic.
Using functions and error checking when processing large batches of data.
Manipulating strings to convert option chains from the format of one firm to match the format of my own firm.
